"Pondering Beauty in Sacred Places," Lenten Mission @ St. Luke the Evangelist (Slidell)


Join the St. Louis IX Art Society (SL9) and St. Luke the Evangelist (Slidell) for a 4-night Lenten mission focused on encountering Christ in the sacred.

The schedule for the mission will be as follows:

  • Wednesday, March 13th - SL9 President Jordan Haddad, Ph.D., on Sacred Beauty

  • Thursday, March 14th - SL9 Artist Jaclyn Warren on Sacred Art

  • Wednesday, March 20th - SL9 Sacred Composer James Rosenbloom on Sacred Music

  • Thursday, March 21st - SL9 Sacred Architect Nathaniel Frank, AIA, NCARB on Sacred Architecture

Each evening will include inspiring preaching and teaching, sacred music, and Eucharistic adoration.

This event is free and open to the public, so we hope you'll join us as we prepare for our minds and hearts for Holy Week and the singular divine-historical event that changes everything: the Resurrection of Christ at Easter.

St. Luke the Evangelist is located at 910 Cross Gates Blvd. in Slidell, LA.
